Suzanne "Suz" Williamson is a Digital Media Arts Teacher at Godinez Fundamental High School, a certified Google Educator, a certified Adobe Creative Educator, member of the National Art Education Association and California Art Education Association, an artist, a designer, and a mother of two.
She has spent 18 years working as a designer and creative director in the fashion industry. She earned a B.A. in Art History and Fine Arts from the University of Southern California and a degree in Fashion Design from F.I.T. in NYC. She has a CA Single Subject Credential in Art as well as the CTE credential in Arts, Media, Entertainment and Fashion Design. In 2023, she was awarded the Spark Innovation Grant for her dynamic skateboard design lesson. Suz is passionate about art and supporting the youth. In her free time, she enjoys creating art projects, traveling, reading, going to the beach, and adventuring with her husband and two children. She is from southern California, lived and worked in NYC for eight years and in Biarritz, France for two and a half years. One of her dreams is to travel to Bora Bora and stay in one of the overwater bungalows and roll out of bed straight into the ocean water. |
